Let's Create a Picture Frame!

Time for some upcycling! Let's make memories with this DIY picture frame!

If you have all been very busy creating, you might have a few old pencil stubs lying around. So why not use them to create something beautiful? We'll show you how! 💫

This picture frame, created by gathering together all your old pencil stubs, will make a beautiful gift or addition to your own fridge to frame any special memory.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Old pencils too short to use
  • Ruler
  • Cardboard (size of your choice)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Sharpener
  • Magnetic sheeting/tape/magnets

GET CREATING!

Cut the cardboard into the shape of a frame of your preferred size. Sharpen any pencils that need sharpening to make the ends look the same. Glue your used pencils in a beautiful pattern all around the frame.

FINISH IT OFF

Cut the magnetic sheet to size and then glue it on to the back of your frame.  If you don't have magnets, you can also use Prestik or any other type of adhesive.

ENJOY!

Find a photo or picture that you love and display it on your fridge, or wrap it up in your Yokico gift wrapping paper to give as a very special gift to someone you love.

Keep creating and we'll check in again soon with more fun ideas for you and your kids. 🌈
