Let's Make a Jar of Hearts!

We have a very special craft activity for you to show your loved ones how much you appreciate and love them. Just follow the easy steps below to create your own Jar of Hearts and make someone very happy! Don't forget to share your creations and tag us on Facebook and Instagram!

WHAT DO YOU NEED? 

• A clear glass jar with a lid
• Yokico Liquid Chalk
• Colourful paper
• Scissors
• Any other Yokico stationery to make your love hearts look beautiful
  
  

GET CREATING!

Decorate the outside of your glass jar with the liquid chalk. You can also write a short message on your jar, like "You're the best" or "Reasons why I love you".

Cut out as many pieces of colourful paper as you like on which you will be writing your messages to fill the jar. You can cut them into shapes like hearts or stars to make it look prettier.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR LOVE JAR

Now it's time for the really fun part. On each piece of paper, write down a message to the person you are giving the jar to. It could be reasons why you love them, or it could even be a fun memory that you shared. If it is your mom, you can say things like "You read the best bedtime stories" or "You give the best hugs". If it is your best friend you can say things like "You always make me laugh" or "I love your smile" or "Remember when we had a midnight feast". This might take a bit of time but it will be one of the most special gifts you could give to someone and something to be treasured forever. Place all the messages in the jar and watch someone's face light up when they read them.
